After Zopa (of which we already talked a couple of times) another social lending system is starting in Italy: Boober. Boober is a “peer-to-peer” lending marketplace that originally was born in the Nederlands (unlike Zopa that comes from UK) that works much like Zopa: prospective borrowers list the amount they want to borrow, the purpose of the loan, and so on.
I have to say that I liked very much that Boober doesn’t flaunts an “it’s everything safe”, but has an entire section titled “how risks are contained“, that I consider much more fair and transparent.
All in all, at a first sight it looks that Boober website gives quite full informations, and not too obscured by marketing proclaims. We will see: just like Zopa, Boober is by now gathering subscriptions but hasn’t already fully activated the loan marketplace.
